  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the tacos:

  • 8 warm corn tortillas
  • 2 cups grated cabbage (green or a combination of green and red)
  • 1/2 cup pico de gallo (store-bought or homemade)

For the creamy sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon blackening oregano (preserved from top)

  • In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients for the blackness seasoning together. Aside.

  • Dry the fish with a paper towel. Generously rub black spices on both sides of each fish steak.
