Pizza Dip with Garlic Knots

Ingredients

For the Pizza Dip:

8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce

1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or mini pepperoni)

1/4 cup chopped bell pepper (optional)

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

For the Garlic Knots:

1 can refrigerated pizza dough or 1 lb fresh pizza dough

3 tbsp butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp salt

2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Pizza Dip

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease an oven-safe skillet or baking dish.

2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, and Parmesan until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of the dish.

3. Top with pizza sauce, then sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella. Add pepperoni, bell pepper, black olives, and Italian seasoning.

4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

Garlic Knots

1. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into strips (about 1 inch wide).

2. Tie each strip into a knot and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Brush this mixture over the knots.

4. Bake in the same oven as the dip for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.

5. Optional: Sprinkle with Parmesan and chopped parsley once out of the oven.

To Serve

Serve the hot pizza dip in the skillet with garlic knots around it for dipping. Enjoy!
