Prawns with garlic

Here is a simple and delicious recipe for garlic shrimp that can be prepared in less than 10 minutes. This dish is perfect for a quick dinner all week or as an aperitif.

ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and unvenated

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon sweet Spanish paprika

ground red pepper flakes, to taste

salt to taste

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Juice of 1 lemon

Heat the oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Sautéed garlic: Add chopped garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Fry for 2 minutes until the garlic is golden but does not burn.

Cooking shrimp: Add the shrimp to the pan and season with salt and paprika. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Finish with lemon: Squeeze the freshly squeezed lemon juice over the shrimp and add the chopped parsley.

Serving: Divide into plates and enjoy immediately, ideally with crispy bread or over rice.
