  • 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Toppings:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

1️⃣ Make the Dough

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add salt, flour, and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  1. In a small saucepan, combine crushed tomatoes, garlic, oregano, and basil.
  2. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until thickened.

3️⃣ Assemble the Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle and place it on the pan.
  3. Spread the sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
